Ordering & Acceptance

  • We only accept orders once we have confirmed them.
  • After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. This does not mean your order is accepted.
  • A legally binding contract is formed once we confirm your order has been accepted or we dispatch your products.
  • We may reject orders for reasons including, but not limited to:
    • Products being out of stock
    • Orders from outside the UK
    • Mispricing errors
    • Suspected non-personal use
  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • If an order is rejected, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund any payments.

Pricing & Payment

  • Prices include VAT.
  • Payment is taken at the point of ordering unless stated otherwise.
  • Responsibility for the products passes to you once they have been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
  • Any changes in VAT rates between order and delivery will be applied unless full payment has already been made.

Delivery

  • Delivery options and costs are available at checkout.
  • Estimated delivery dates are confirmed in your dispatch email.
  • Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout.
  • Products are packaged to arrive in good condition. It is your responsibility to store dry products appropriately after delivery. PortionIQ is not liable for deterioration due to improper storage.

Delivery Timing:

  • Weekday orders before 11:00am: dispatched same day
  • Weekday orders after 11:00am: dispatched next working day
  • Weekend or bank holiday orders: dispatched next working day

Delays:

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Product Information

  • Product colours, packaging, and descriptions are indicative and may vary slightly.
  • All product information is provided for general guidance only. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that all descriptions, imagery, or content are error-free or up to date.

Returns & Cancellations

Legal Right to Cancel

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind and return products, subject to the exceptions below.

Exceptions

You cannot return:

  • Due to health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of food products
  • that have been opened, unsealed, partially consumed, or tampered with.
  • Personalised items or goods made to your specifications
  • Goods inseparably mixed with other items

Process

  1. Contact [email protected] to notify us
  2. Return the product within 14 days
  3. Use a tracked delivery service and keep proof of postage

Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item or proof of return.
  • Standard delivery costs only will be refunded. Extra charges for express delivery will not be refunded.
  • Refunds may be reduced if the product is damaged or used beyond what would be acceptable in-store.

Faulty Products

  • If a product is faulty or not as described, contact [email protected] immediately.
  • We will provide a replacement, repair, or refund as required by law.
  • PortionIQ is not liable for defects caused by misuse, accidental damage, or commercial use.

Changes to Products & Supply

  • Products may be updated to reflect legal requirements, technical improvements, or minor adjustments.
  • We may suspend supply temporarily due to technical issues, legal changes, or emergencies.
  • If a suspension exceeds 14 days, you may terminate the contract for a refund.
  • We may withdraw products, providing at least 7 days’ notice and refunds for any paid but undelivered products.

Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded under law.
  • Subject to this, PortionIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income, data, or opportunity arising from the use of our products or website.

Dispute Resolution

  • Alternative dispute resolution may be available via an independent body; you can still take legal action if unsatisfied.
  • These Terms are governed by English law. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your rights to rely on mandatory local consumer protection laws.
